They say life is about choices. You spend your life making decisions and dealing with the consequences, whether they are positive or negative. In my tumultuous frame of mind, I make a choice. A very poorly thought out choice, but one that I have to live with, nevertheless.

As soon as Cassidy finishes her encore, I tell the girls that we’re going backstage to meet the singer. They follow behind the private elevator to the lower level of the Chi Center, talking giddily. I push their voices out of my mind, leading them with long, purposeful strides.

There are perks to owning the joint. The security guards clear the way for me, knowing not to bother me when I’m in a foul mood.

With a short knock, I push my way into Cassidy’s crowded backstage room. The moment she lays her fake-eyelash covered gaze on me, she squeals. The sound hurts my ears, but I pretend it doesn’t.

Pressure Point is the second book in the Point Series, and although it can be read as a standalone, I think that I personally would have enjoyed it more if I would have read the first book as well.

Pressure Point is about Stella and Blake who share a night together that Stella had thought would be perfect, but the only thing that happened was Blake treating her like trash.  Something he could throw away.

Stella ends up running into Blake again when she is a better place, and Blake has realized how badly he treated Stella in the past, it was a mistake the way he treated her and he wants to fix it.

Stella is not one to hold grudges, and lets him in close again, of course he is still kind of a jerk, but she does not hold grudges. Stella loves him and to her he is definitely worth it.

This is the first book that I have read by Olivia Luck and I really enjoyed the writing.  It was a great story, and I can say I will definitely be reading more.

Thomas’ story is definitely different from the rest as the world he has been living in has changed him, leaving him not knowing how to go forward in his life and be around his family with what has gone on in the past. He’s a cop who goes by the name Blue and is deep undercover in the Sun Devils MC who has been consumed by the lifestyle and isn’t sure who he is anymore. Roxanne was born into the MC and has had her own horrible circumstances to deal with. Roxy or Angel as they call her has never wanted to live the way she does and when Thomas approaches her with a way out she jumps at the chance. Can the two of them shed the tough personas and be the people they truly are underneath it all and will they make it through it all together? You’ll have to grab the book to find out!

Chelle has yet again written an amazing story, with just enough angst and nail biting countered with the hot scenes these brothers are known for having. I loved Blue and Angel!! He needs to learn to live again where she needs to learn what life is outside the MC and what it means to be truly free. They are a perfect couple, both hard asses in their own way but still having the sizzling sexual chemistry. I love the Gallo family, the interactions with each other and the antics we have all come to love from them.  

I recommend this series to everyone and I’m definitely anxious to get my little hands on the next book about the mysterious Anthony…. I have the feeling this is going to be a whopper of a storyline!!
