The newest Blogger Story Sensation *~*~*~> Imperfect Truth by Ava Harrison

OK y'all. We are going to do a different kind of post tonight. Tonight we want to introduce to you a DEBUT Author by the name of Ave Harrison. If you have been privileged to have already connected with Ava then you already know just how great her debut novel is, Imperfect Truth
If you haven't yet read this eye popping, fast rising in the charts story yet, here's your chance to get the scoop from our point of view:
Jamie and I had the opportunity to receive an advanced readers copy (ARC)
and let me just say that we were both blown away! From the insightful way Imperfect Truth is portrayed to the reader to the, let's just say it and be honest, the way this book reads it's as if she took a day in the life of one of many bloggers experiences and made them her muse. With the end result being a story that captivates you from start to finish. Ava Harrison had come across our radar with the help of this one teaser

SOLD. DONE. When can we get our hands on this.
and then we saw this one...

INDUCE the ANGST-GASM ( that is a trademarked term, licensed by All Is Read Angst Hussies LOL) We just knew this was going to be good...

I’m a blogger. He’s a writer.
He was my weakness.
I was his muse.

Once upon a time my marriage was built on love...
Until it wasn’t.

Where had we gone wrong?
I had given up hope…

But then he messaged me,
And his words intoxicated me.
Made me believe in love again.

Made me believe in truth.
My imperfect truth…

I don’t even know where to begin. Just thinking, brainstorming my thoughts, controlling my emotions into an understandable sentence is very difficult.

Just the tag line for this book had me, hooked line and sinker. So yes, this story is about a blogger in the novel world. The Indie Author world to be specific… Uh. Yeah I want to read this book. Excuse me while I run to One Click real quick. I mean I am a blogger. I may not be the most popular but I still can relate. Well what I didn’t expect was to be knocked on my behind with stars floating around my head. What I didn’t know is that I would find that one book, those collection of words that would devastate me. Words that would infuriate me. Words that in the end came to be a purging of emotions that could not be controlled. I purposely waited to write this review for fear that I would unintentionally insert my own experiences and I NEED to be as objective as I can. For you. For anyone who is reading this.

Part of being pleasantly surprised was how Imperfect Truth is presented. See I just assumed it was going to be another run of the mill story. You know the ones I mean; a woman who finally finds herself in the eyes of a man. Yeah, no. That’s not what this is. This is a personal journey. Details of a day to day in the life of a wife who happens to be a blogger. A wife who feels invisible, yet is alive when connected virtually. A blogger who is befriended by a male author to help market his books. What then starts to happen, is that void she feels inexplicitly starts to be filled in the most disruptive way. But being so vulnerable and needing that connection a woman desires, she doesn’t see the rabbit hole she starts to fall in.

What I loved about Imperfect Truth is how personal it is. Remember I said that earlier, well this story is written in a detailed account by journaling. Having it set this way, the reader can’t help but know that you are reading someone’s personal thoughts thus making it impossible to not be connected to every feeling. Even though it may be tough for some people to support or condone the taboo subjects in Imperfect Truth, one must also remember this is all entertainment that may or may not have been taken from the real lives of others. And the very possibility that it could happen makes Imperfect Truth that one sleeper novel; that one book that may flow under the radar but that one story that every person in the Book Community should be reading.

In my opinion I think Imperfect Truth is a great debut for this author. Connections were made and that’s what you need as a reader. To feel connected to the characters, setting, and ultimately… the author. Well Done. You got my vote! Thank you for allowing me to read an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Now Jamie's thoughts....

You know that feeling you get when you catch a glimpse of a beautiful teaser coming from a new book that you hadn’t heard of yet?  The,  “Oh my god, what is this book, and when can I get my hands on it?”, feeling?  Yeah, I totally had that when I saw the Imperfect Truth teaser.  And come to find out it was from a debut Author?  Even better!   It drew me in, and I had to know what this book was about.  Ava Harrison was kind enough to offer me an ARC of Imperfect Truth and as soon as it landed on my kindle, I sat down to read it, only stopping for work and for maybe like 2 minutes of sleep. Ha!

Imperfect Truth is about Ava Harrison, book blogger, and wife to a very wealthy man, Alexandre Harrison, whom is constantly under his families thumb.  Ava is scrutinized daily, and when she starts feeling the inadequacy take her over, in comes Ryder.  Mysterious writer.  Ava starts down a path with Ryder that makes her question so many things in her life.  She feels free, she feels like she matters, she feels beautiful.  That is, until it all comes crashing down.

This book is so many things.  The story line is completely original.  I have never seen it done before, which makes it highly coveted in the book world.  In an industry where things get over done sometimes 3, 4 times over; reading a fresh new story line is amazing.

Imperfect Truth is also very real to everyday life situations.  The issues of inadequacy, the feelings of hopelessness and the not knowing how to deal with ones one imperfections that the heroine tackles, are things that others deal with every day as well.  Harrison does an amazing job telling a story that is obviously near and dear to her heart.

Everyone needs to snatch up this book and move it to the top of your TBR.  Read it immediately.  I absolutely loved it, and I know that you will as well.  Thank you so much Ava, for a beautiful, remarkable book!

So there you have it. If you are looking for that new book (as we all are everyday hahaha) grab Imperfect Truth
