So when I started reading this prequel to Leah’s story I was
thrilled to finally get to know more of her story. Leah is the manager of the
band Reckless Beat and basically does everything for the band and really has no
social life outside of her job. She has eyes for the bands Rhythm Guitarist
Ryan and things between them have been tense. Leah finally decides she needs
some time away to clear her head after a short moment with Ryan, so she takes a
break from the band which of course means a break from him too. She takes off
without letting anyone know her destination and ignores their attempts to get
ahold of her. She ends playing the wild one and tries to have some fun and just
let loose for a while. I’m not going to go any further seeing as I had to
delete a chunk of what I just wrote because well hello spoilers!!
However after saying that I must say Eden you’re such a
tease!!!
This is definitely not a stand-alone and you really need to
have read the series from the beginning to fully understand why this book made
my heart ache at times. I will admit that there were a couple moments that I
teared up, but I also laughed and needed a dang cold shower! As always Eden
knows how to write a story that has you drooling for more. I can’t wait for the
next book to come out since I am now dying for the full story I need to know if
Leah will get her HEA! I highly recommend this series and am giving Reckless Rendezvous
5 Stars.
