Jude and I managed to salvage something beautiful from the war torn rubble of our lives, a blissful happiness that we paid for in blood. We fought our way here, leaving pieces of ourselves along the way. I thought this was the happily ever after in our twisted fairy tale, but I was wrong.

I may be free by definition. That freedom came at a heavy cost and my family is about to pay the price. At any moment, this façade will come crashing down. Hard. The life I've lived—that kind of world—it stains you, and no matter how hard you try, you can never escape its wrath. Not even in death.

We're walking a wire and all that's beneath us is destruction.

My life was mapped out and planned to perfection. I knew exactly what I wanted and where I was going, until I was thrust into his world and ripped from mine. In the blink of an eye everything shattered, proving to be nothing more than a cheap illusion. Now I’m living in this twisted form of hell, where enemies and friends are one and the same. I thought I wanted perfection. Now I don’t know what I want - perhaps not even my own freedom.

I'm the definition of wrong. I'm violent, I'm greedy, and I stop at nothing to win. I'm a notorious bookie and in my game paying with your life is not just a figure of speech. You lose, I collect. I take whatever you have. She’s collateral for a debt, and if that debt's not paid someone will die. This should be just business, so why can’t I kill her?
Everything is not always as it seems.
Lust. Blood. Lies.

Nothing this wrong should feel so right.

***DISCLAIMER-- I have just recently read all books in this series so my review and future reviews associated with this series may or may not reflect that as well as trying not to provide any spoilers to any of the books. Thank You.***
Um. Yeah. Uh. *scratches head*
WOW! WOW! I am still in a complete book hangover!! *heart eyes*

I've been waiting for some kind of book to completely gut me and all I am saying is I should've been careful for what I wished for! DAMN. Where have LP and Stevie been all my life???
If I could make up new words to express the meaning of READ NOW, I would!! I wish I could have a redo in time to place me at the beginning of this book so I can experience it for the first time all over again, that's how much I was gripped!! I knew Wrong was a romantic suspense, but I had no idea just how twisted and shockingly sexy this book would turn out to be and how much I would love every... single... moment!!
Jude Pearson. *sigh* Well really I shouldn't sigh... he's scary, and dirty, and I'm not talking hygiene here ladies and gents, I am talking Jude has a Doctorate in debasement 101 and it's flipping sexy as all H E L L.
As a matter of fact talking about the down below, Victoria has become the dark masters' latest possession, the only thing is that in the line of work Jude does he has one rule: Don't hurt, kidnap, or kill women. Well unfortunately, Victoria is dropped off to Jude in lieu of a gambling debt made from Victoria's boyfriend and now Jude has to keep her until he makes payment. After a few days that feel like months, it becomes clear to Jude that Victoria might not be who she seems and now he must break his own rules to get the answers he needs.
The twist to all this is that in the midst of all the  graphic violence that surrounds them, Jude and Tori start to develop feelings for each other. Could it be Stockholm Syndrome or is it something good among the evil they both have become?
But this is just the tip of the barrel of this story. Wrong is the perfect title for this first book in the series because everything and every choice that's made by Victoria and Jude and TO them is just so perfectly effed up that you can't do anything but continue to turn the pages until you find out what's going to happen next. The love story that blooms within is HOT and will make it terribly impossible to forget Jude Pearson and will leave you wanting!!
BEWARE-- Wrong is sinful and addictive and perfectly written by this author duo. For me, Wrong was the perfect start to a suspenseful romance that has become a top favorite of mine and must be read by every reader who loves to get dark with their word obsession!! 5+++stars

Jude Pearson could just as well kill me as kiss me most days. He was my captor, my living hell, and yet, he became my saviour, my heart. Stupid. He's heartless, conditioned to feel nothing, and so I ran... straight into the clutches of his enemy. Joe Campbell wants Jude to suffer, and I just became a pawn in a very dangerous game.

Joe has broken me in every way, everything that I once was stripped away, and in its place is festering hatred and a rage so cold I feel nothing else. I have one purpose. Revenge.

Love makes you weak; it makes you irrational. She was collateral, completely innocent when she was unwillingly dragged into my corrupt world. With the damage I'd already caused her, I couldn't let her love me, so I let her go, and now...he has her.

No matter where she is, she will always be mine. This man has taken every-fucking-thing from me, and he has the last thing that matters to me. I will kill him. Slowly. Joe Campbell better run because the devil is fucking coming for him.

Sometimes two wrongs can make a right.

Our Wrath binds us, but it may also break us.

*blinks eyes*

Have you ever read that book that completely consumes you making you fall down the dark well into a world that is written so brilliantly that once done it feels like you just had an outer body experience? Almost as if you were there with each character seeing and feeling alongside them?

Wrath is that book for me! I am still rocking in the corner pleading for mercy from LP Lovell and Stevie J. Cole! I don’t think they heard me. Or maybe they did but just don’t want to answer me. I imagine them giggling and saying, “sorry not sorry” for bringing us readers yet again another gem of the dark side by ways of Wrath.

Ok so if it hasn’t been figured out already Wrath is the second book in the Wrong Series. And if you haven’t read Wrong book 1 yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!?!? And please don’t read any further in this review.

Go. Scoot.

Get outta here and start reading!

Now for those of us that had the privilege of getting mind jacked in Wrong, just know that Wrath is going to break apart your soul and destroy your mind to bits, and only the strongest are surviving.

Just like Tori.

Man, Tori goes through some serious disturbing situations. Wrath picked right up were Wrong left off and if we thought she was in the wrong hands with Jude, we were mistaken. BIG TIME. Tori is being used by the most sadistic character we’ve seen yet and my heart broke for her. But don’t get to use to being down, Tori is one of the strongest females that I had the pleasure of reading. We see her pull herself out of rubble with the faith that she has for Jude. That he will come for her. That he will be the cold devil he is so good at being to get to her. Jude once thought his love for Tori would be his undoing and weakness but he soon realizes just how powerful love is. The driving force that will obliterate anything in his path to get to Tori.

Then I read the words that smacked me silly and just made this book surpass book 1.

No, I am not going to say what happens that will make your eyes bug out of your sockets!

You must get in this book now!

I will say that I love these books!! I mean really no matter what I have rambled on about so far bears the full weight of the words MUST READ. Again, this writing duo has brought forth one of the best suspense romances that I have read, and has come toe to toe with a certain author love of mine JD Robb. In my opinion, Wrath has done the achievement of being better than its predecessor with its storytelling sucking you back into the dark world of crime and murder coupled with a sexiness that is off the charts.

It may seem wrong to say but Wrath is smoldering, sexy, and oh, it’s still scary!  Wrath is exciting and full of twists and turns that you fail to see which way is up. At the same time being without a doubt the best writing I have read in a long time. And I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to fall into the world of Jude Pearson!

5++++ stars

Some of her stories will strip you bare, some will give you nightmares, but the one thing she can promise is that she will always give you stories that make you feel.
Raw. Gritty. Love.
Because sometimes characters need to be flawed.

P.S. Stevie's greatest fear is the impending zombie apocalypse. Think about it: swarming armies of decaying, oozing corpses stumbling around with clicking teeth, trying to eat your face. Nothing about that is good. NOTHING!
