I have yet to read one of her books that I absolutely did
not love. I was sucked in from just reading the synopsis and have been
impatiently awaiting release day. It was full of action and suspense but don’t
panic the amazingly smoking hot scenes that Kasey is known for writing are
definitely in here. I loved that was gritty and dark but still left you wanting
more, it was a fast read but it didn’t leave you hanging or wondering what the
hell you just read. This book is a must read and I will tell anyone that will
listen about it.
Get ready for this fast paced, in your face, sexy suspense!

WOW! I can’t even believe I am done and writing this review! All I remember is sitting down with my comfy pillow, turning my Kindle on, grabbing my copy and BANG! I just got demolished by this sexy, out of nowhere strong female who may or may not be all she seems. All she knows is that her world was turned upside down in a blink of an eye and everyone is going to pay!

With a storyline that can quite possibly be out of reach, Kasey Millstead writes Vengeance Is Mine with such fluidity and clarity that one can’t help but fall into her trap, into the world she has created, and all you can do is hold on and ride it to the end. The ride, well let’s just say that I sat down with no expectations and was blown away with how much fun this book was. Yes I know, killing is bad, using sex for revenge is bad(maybe), but who cares when you have a female who comes into her own self, just at the right time to possibly get justice served.
I loved how all the characters have a depth to them that you really don’t know who they are, or what they’re capable of. I loved how Kasey has brought us into a world, that’s gritty and smelly, when this world can sometimes be glorified in a pretty way. I loved how I said eww at times when I was reading about a character.
Really, I said eww and scrunched my nose… That can only come from great storytelling.
I hope there is more that can come from this story just because I am greedy like that, but even if Vengeance Is Mine opens and closes the way it is now, I am completely satisfied.
