##Cover Reveal## Lucky Penny by L.A. Cotton

Title: Lucky Penny
Author: L.A. Cotton
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Cover Design: Daniela Conde PadrĂ³n of DCP Designs
Photographer & Model: Mandy Hollis of MHPhotography
 Release Date: November 30, 2015
I was his lucky Penny. He was my light in the dark, hope in despair. Our bond was one of survival, friendship... first love.

But then we were ripped apart and Blake Weston became the memory I turned to when everything else in my life fell apart.

Seven years later, a summer working at Camp Chance is supposed to be my fresh start. Beautiful scenery and the chance to better the lives of foster children--kids like me. But when my eyes land on him across the fire, time stands still and feelings come rushing back to the surface. I thought I'd moved on, tucked him away in my heart. One look into his soulful blue eyes and I know I'm wrong. Blake Weston can heal the broken parts of me. Restore my hope. Love me.

It's our second chance. A sign we are supposed to be together.

Isn't it?

I was twelve when I survived the accident that killed my parents. Fourteen when I survived the devil. And sixteen, when I survived a heartbreak of the worst kind.

But in my twenty-three years, Blake Weston might just be the first thing I won't survive.

“You look like you’ve seen a ghost, Penny?” Marissa nudged me again, only this time when I turned to face her she was wearing a look of confusion, while I was trying to fight back the panic rising in me.

“I, I’m not sure. The tall one, he looked familiar.”

“You mean Blake?”

Blake?

My heart beat in double time.

Then crashed.

And for a moment I was certain it stopped beating.

Everything stopped.

I couldn’t breathe.

I couldn’t swallow.

I couldn’t get out the words almost choking me.

“Penny?”

My eyes snapped up at the sound of Marissa’s voice, and something caught my attention. Through the flames I saw the two guys talking. The one I thought I recognized was listening to the other guy, but he wasn’t looking at his friend. His blue eyes were set firmly on me.

Eyes I’d spent days and nights dreaming of.

Eyes that had kept the nightmares at bay.

Eyes I thought I’d never see again.

“Penny, you’re freaking me out a little over here.”

Marissa’s voice deflected off my impending meltdown. I came to Camp Chance to heal. Not to have every scar I’d ever been inflicted with ripped open again and laid bare.

But my past and present had just collided.

I never thought I'd see Blake Weston again, but he was sitting across the fire from me.

A ghost from my past.

Looking right at me.

This is a fantastic compilation of stories for those who are lovers of the fairy tale classics we have all grown up with. These authors have a wondrous knack for taking the fairy tales near and dear to our hearts and twisting them into deliciously dark or seductively romantic tales that make us fall in love with them all over again. There were paranormal twists to favorites like Sleeping Beauty and the Twelve Dancing Princesses and we even were able to fall in love with a certain sexy handsome incubus demon in the likes of Rumpelstiltskin.

I loved being able to read these stories in a new light, it was so much fun and even more exciting then the first time you hear these stories as a child. I would have to say that my stand out favorites were Priceless (Rumplestiltskin), Blayze & Ash(Beauty & the Beast) and The Snow Queen. The Snow Queen in particular was a very twisted and dark tale and excellently retold by Shannon Morton in which our evil protagonist Winter is bent on freeing people from their emotional cages by breaking their hearts. Its both intriguing and heartbreaking but Winter is so good at being evil that you can't help but admire her tenacity.

Great fun read whether you read the stories back to back or read them individually over time. You will love how these authors have given their own spin on these memorable tales!

Sarah J. Pepper specializes in dark, paranormal romance - think "happy ever after" but with a twisted, dark chocolate center. Real-life romance isn't only filled with hugs, kisses, bunnies, and rainbows. True-love can be more thoroughly described in times of darkness and tribulation. It's in those harsh moments where you see what a person is truly capable of - both the good and bad. Sometimes prince-charming isn't always on time, and the glass slipper is a little snug. However, it doesn't mean Charming is not Mr. Right, and who says every shoe is the perfect fit? Get a glimpse inside her head at www.sarahjpepper.com
Award Winning Author, Tish Thawer, writes paranormal romances for all ages. Her magickal elements and detailed world-building are a welcome constant in every novel.
Before becoming a writer she worked as a computer consultant, a photographer and a graphic designer. She also operates a custom glass etching business, in addition to being a wife and the mother of three wonderful children.
She's been a fan of the paranormal for as long as she can remember. Anything to do with superpowers, myth and magic has always held a special place in her heart. From her first paranormal cartoon, Isis, to the phenomenon that is Twilight, this genre has always been a part of her life.
