This was definitely a difficult review to write, I wanted to
gush about this book and everything that is included in it but I behaved myself….
When I heard Chelle Bliss was writing a new book and it was
a standalone, I jumped at the chance to read it. I climbed into this book not
knowing what to really expect because the synopsis was very vague but I knew it
would be fantastic.
Enshrine pulled me in so many directions and had my emotions
on the ride of a lifetime. I found myself so engrossed in the story that I just
couldn’t put this book down. Callie is an amazing heroine, she is strong like
we expect from Chelle’s lead females but the trials and tribulations that she
faces honestly had me wondering if she would make it through. Then we have
Bruno… he is not what I was expecting at all, he is tough and all alpha male
but there is something about him that just keeps you wondering.
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
In true Chelle form we have the alpha male and the strong
and ballsy heroine, but there was a different element to this story than her
others. The dynamic of it had me from the minute I opened the book it was
inspiring and heartbreaking at the same time. I think my emotions were on the
ride of their lives as well as my heart being shredded into pieces that
thankfully were glued back together meticulously as the story continued. I am a
huge City fan, and have been since I first opened Throttle Me but I will say
Bruno is definitely giving him a run for his money. This was an amazing story
and I am so glad I had the chance to read and review it. If you get the chance
to curl up with Enshrine I must say it will be so worth it, this is an instant
one-click in my opinion.
This is a 5 star book and if I could give it more I most
definitely would!!
