Joshua Wilson, an up-and-coming movie star, is turned off by the idea of marriage. His Oscar-winning smile and breakout role in the summer’s hottest romantic comedy bring in enough attention to satisfy Joshua’s cravings for the spotlight – not to mention the never-ending supply of willing women.
Joey Mitchell is down in the dumps after finding out that her fiancé cheated on her with her best friend, and is living at home with her parents until she can get back on her feet. Without Joey’s knowledge, her overbearing and neurotic mother submits an application for her to appear on the reality show, Married Blind. When the producers surprise her with the news that they have cast her, Joey wants nothing to do with the show but agrees to participate because, at this point in her life, she really has nothing to lose.
Lights, camera, action… Welcome to another season of Married Blind. Contestants are about to take the plunge, but only one couple will come out of the house winners!
I was so wrapped
up in the story within this story that I had no idea when I came to the end of
the story. Heidi has once again given us readers a prize worthy book. First,
let’s talk about the cover. How different and so very pretty! I instantly fell
in love with it and being a very visual person, the cover set the bar really
high! Thankfully the content inside did this one of a kind cover justice.
Simply gorgeous and it’s a new favorite!
Same goes
for the words. Blind Reality takes all the elements of reality television
uniquely intricate with Heidi’s way of story writing with the end result being funny
and sexy. The setting is about three couples that were married on national
television, never meeting until that day. Then grouped together to live in a
house for a few months. Their tasks are to compete for various prizes and the
end winning the grand prize, of course. But as I sit here typing away these
ordinary words to describe Blind Reality, this story is anything but and chock
full of new developments at every turn. When I was reading I was cocooned into an
inner feeling of light heartedness. Even as Blind Reality is set up to ensure
loads of drama it was in my opinion perfect how the story was conveyed.
I loved
all the couples that were featured and their own individual stories. I loved
that as I was reading I felt like I was reading the transcripts of a “real”
reality TV series. Blind Reality, is a capturing story that made me get
comfortable with its commanding presence. The descriptions of each challenge
made it plausible with nothing being over the top or cheesy. Truly just an
enjoyable story.
Book two?
Yes. I want to sign up now for the subscription. I don’t want to miss next
seasons show.

During the day Heidi is behind a desk talking about Land Use. At night, she's writing one of the many stories planned for release or sitting courtside during either daughter's basketball games.
